Janitor/Custodian - Secured Access

About the role

CW Resources is seeking Custodians to join our team. This role involves keeping facilities clean and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Check in with supervisor and teammates to discuss daily cleaning plans.
• Use cleaning supplies like mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Take out trash and replace bags.
• Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe down surfaces.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
• Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Walk through area one last time to ensure cleanliness.
• Return tools and supplies to storage area.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to work well with teammates and supervisor.
• A friendly, can-do attitude.
• Ability to stay focused and try your best.
• Valid Real ID.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government base access.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 25-30 pounds.
• Navigate stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring safely.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents.
• Exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and other typical indoor environmental factors.
• May encounter biohazardous materials or bodily fluids.
• Confined or awkward spaces such as under sinks, behind furniture, or inside equipment areas.
• Noise from cleaning machinery.
