Janitor- 2nd Shift
About the role
Janitors at Harrison Steel are responsible for cleaning various areas, including restrooms, shower houses, canteens, break rooms, and offices.
- Cleaning and sanitizing
- Emptying trash
- Washing walls
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Stocking supplies
Previous janitorial experience is a plus. Due to the size of our facility, an active driver's license is preferred.
Work Environment
The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, extreme heat and fumes or airborne particles, and is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Additional exposures include:
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Non-weather related extreme cold, water, and humidity
- Risk of electrical shock
- Occasional work in high, precarious places
The usual noise level is loud. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Attica is a rural city with approximately 3,200 residents, surrounded by traditional Midwest farmland. The foundry is a 40-minute drive from Lafayette, Indiana or Danville, Illinois, and 1.5 hours from Indianapolis.
