About the role

An assistant coach supports the head coach in all aspects of the high-school program.

Responsibilities

• Carry out coaching duties assigned by the head coach.
• Attend staff meetings convened by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Ensure the safety of student-athletes and report injuries to the appropriate staff.
• Perform any other reasonable duties requested by the head coach.
