About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a floor jack in a safe manner.
• Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material.
• Complete operator check list daily.
• Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns.
• Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers.
• Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line.
• Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Complete an on‑line job application in Workday.
• Have 6 months continuous work history within the past 2 years.
• Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment.
• Eligible for rehire only after 365 days, and only if not worked more than two previous times for Tyson (subject to longer waiting periods based on dismissal reason).
• Relocation assistance is not eligible.
• Certain roles at Tyson require background checks; if offered, additional documentation will be required.

$17.25/hour

Schedule

6:00 AM – 2:30 AM or until production ends
