Jack and Bore Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote safe work practices as determined by the company
• Plan out work activities with Operations team to develop best means and methods, including developing safety action plans or other emergency plans as needed.
• Ensures team has proper resources for the timely completion of work, including laborer, tools, equipment and material.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Complete written forms and reports as required.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, hearing protection, safety-toe boots or safety glasses when required.

Essential job duties

• Climbing ladders into and out of earthen pits/trenches
• Walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Full range of motion and use of arms and legs
• Working around heavy equipment and active construction zones

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience welding non-pressurized pip (36" to 60") using a Miller Trial Boss stick welding with the ability to also run flux core dual shield mig
• Active D1.1 6G certification
