Summary

The Director of Construction Technology is a leadership role focused on innovative technology strategies and roadmaps for construction operations. This role champions the integration of digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency and introduces new solutions for various user bases.

Responsibilities

- Proactively work with stakeholders to establish and execute the digital technology strategy and roadmap for construction lifecycle. - Build trusted partnerships with Construction Operational leaders to drive value through technology. - Serve as the subject matter expert for strategic input on construction digital technologies, initiatives, and programs. - Partner with relevant Service Groups, Operating Groups, and Business Service Groups to provide program and project-level oversight for all construction digital technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the strategy and roadmap. - Evaluate and determine return on technology investments both financially and through user experience. - Partner with relevant technology owners to drive adoption within Construction Operating groups and ensure efficiency in construction projects. - Build collaboration across Information Technology teams and Business to facilitate continuous improvement of technology solutions and processes. - Manage risks, resource allocation, project prioritization, and research new technologies and services. - Effectively build relationships with stakeholders and influence their technology adoption. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement. - Effectively manage IT technology partners to ensure their services and build relationships with them to influence their product roadmap to better support our processes and needs. - Develop, manage, allocate, and govern the annual budget.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or related field. - Experience in developing an organization’s technology strategy with roadmap, together with execution. - 10 or more years of leadership experience in information technology. - Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget. - Experience of construction technology is highly preferred. - Experience of Enterprise (or Application) Architecture. - Ability to travel to construction job sites as needed.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $170,200 MIN - $255,400. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
