About the role

Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations.

Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control asset position of customer inventories under PBL and TSPR contracts
  • Execute inventory decisions across suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs, and customer locations
  • Interpret priorities, allocate inventory, and redistribute assets as needed
  • Respond to military service inquiries and support RFPs/provisioning determinations
  • Utilize inventory optimization models and manage budget requirements
  • Interface with company and DoD information management systems
  • Ensure accurate asset identification and resolve technical/support problems
  • Prepare status reports and metrics on supplier performance and mission readiness

Requirements

  • At least 5 years professional experience in support equipment, tool room, and warehouse procedures
  • Experience working in an aviation-related environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite products, especially spreadsheet management

Skills

  • Experience with logistics or property databases (e.g., ALIS, IFS) or equivalent systems
  • Working knowledge of barcode readers
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD Control, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs
  • Self-starter with proactive attitude and ability to multi-task

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $81,500.00 - $151,300.00
