IT Technician III

Job Scope

Provides technical services and support for business systems and applications.

Supports site functions, roles, and initiatives, as assigned.

Affords responsibility for incident and request management using ITSM tools.

Resolves routine questions/problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.

Respects confidentiality at all times.

Duties/Tasks

• Provide technical services and support for business systems and applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in a technical field related to the position, or 5+ years of related work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CCNA, Network+, MCSE, or other industry-standard certifications).

Skills And Knowledge

• Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft programs.
• Competent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to operate in a rapidly changing, complex technical environment.
• Promotes and supports standardization and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking, with high standards of process adherence and a proven record of client satisfaction.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Huntsman’s policy/compliance framework, business processes, reporting procedures, and existing and planned information systems and services.
