IT Technician

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in resolving hardware/software issues for end users
• Participate in IT projects as directed by management
• Support technical upgrades and maintenance of desktop systems
• Assist management in creating training materials for computer troubleshooting and usage
• Install hardware such as computers, monitors, servers, UPS, routers, switches, etc.
• Manage all equipment and perform periodic inventories as required
• Troubleshoot mobile devices, configure new devices
• Install and configure computer systems, phones, and applications within the company

Qualifications

• Obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Show accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
• Effectively communicate and respond to questions from users and business partners
• Show organizational and time management skills sufficient to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
• Work independently and as part of a team

About the Role

SEUHO is a Sumitomo Electric Group company located in Mt. Prospect, IL. This position is part of the SEUHO-IS helpdesk and reports to the IT Supervisor. The base salary range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 hourly, with compensation varying based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. SEUHO is an Equal Opportunity employer.
