IT Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing computer hardware and software systems in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and other office equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing workstations.
• Install and configure new hardware and software as needed.
• Collaborate with IT staff and end-users to troubleshoot complex problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or repair.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and common software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Experience with server management and virtualization technologies.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
