IT Technician

Schedule

Part-Time | 20 hours/week

Pay

$22/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to residents and employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up, install, and maintain computers, printers, and other technology.
• Manage IT support tickets and maintain accurate equipment inventory.
• Support employee onboarding, office moves, IT projects, and community technology initiatives.
• Provide basic computer and Microsoft 365 training to residents and employees.
• Offer in-home technology assistance to residents and support resident activities requiring technical expertise.
• Assist with community audiovisual (AV) equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve troubleshooting resources and support processes.
• Deliver prompt, professional, and hospitality-focused customer service with every interaction.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Previous help desk or IT support experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain technology clearly and patiently to both technical and non-technical users.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, proactive approach and genuine desire to help others.
