Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and company end-users for their hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve problems as needed.
- Troubleshoot Line of Business and Internal Communication Applications as needed and working with Vendors when you cannot reach a solution.
- Provide end-user training and support for software applications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software.
- Able to assist remote users at other US and International sites.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Experience with network infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing industries a plus.
Requirements
- Associate degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Able to perform regular bending, twisting, and lifting to shelf.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and push and/or pull at times.
