Position summary: The IT Technician assists with installing and maintaining network file servers and network operating systems; ensures backup copies of all files are routinely made and securely stored at a separate location; maintains system documentation. Provides technical support to users concerning network system operations, troubleshoots network equipment problems, and performs equipment repair or upgrades as appropriate. Expected to be available during normal business hours, with occasional schedule variation or overtime to meet department requirements. Requires analysis, judgment, attention to detail, dependability
