IT Technician

Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the nation's premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers across the United States. Akerman is seeking an IT Technician to join its Miami office. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities Include Provide onsite and remote technical support, including VPN and Citrix assistanceConfigure and support PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, and phonesTroubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; escalate as neededSupport Microsoft Office and document management applicationsProvide conference room and audiovisual support for meetings and presentationsCoordinate with vendors on technology-related mattersMaintain local office technology inventoryAssist with technology deployments, office moves, and firm-wide functions Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on IT support experienceExperience supporting PCs, Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, AV technology, and network connectivityStrong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting attorneys or professionals in a law firm or professional services environment preferredMicrosoft OS and PC hardware certifications are a plusExperience with iManage and Citrix is highly desirable
