About the Role
You will identify business requirements and solutions related to the support of specific business areas for implementation and ongoing operational support of the technical host system. This role involves managing multiple projects using problem-solving skills and serving as an experienced enterprise core host analyst for ClaimsXM.
- Respond to incident and change requests for both business and technical tickets.
- Understand the components of service-desk systems from design, flow, requirements, to standards.
- Help build and support standards in alignment with IT Governance policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Own processes and solutions around the ticket intake system supporting the hosted solution (ClaimsXM).
- Identify areas for improvements and efficiencies in processes.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, standards, and system/offering requirements.
- Serve as a key technical liaison for inbound requests and incidents, including development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Independently analyze redundant incidents/issues and develop plans to address them, including recommendations and communications on actions, impacts, and results.
- Contribute to project completion within allocated timeframes.
- Write system/technical specifications to ensure solutions support functional requirements.
- Test and evaluate possible changes to prevent downstream impacts.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, escalating issues as necessary.
- Create, document, and maintain IT and information security policy frameworks (Standards).
- Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and auditors.
- Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree and/or seven years of IT experience preferred. If no degree, a minimum of seven years in an IT support position is required.
- Working knowledge of business continuity/disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of organizing/maintaining custom source code repositories.
- MS SQL Server permissions and access level knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledgeable with HIPAA guidelines.
- Knowledge of Cognizant/TriZetto Facets is a plus.
- Familiarity with FedRamp and ATO policies is a plus.
- Basic server maintenance skills are a plus.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of computers, networks, and security systems.
