Position Summary

The successful candidate will lead a team of Technology Specialists to design and implement solutions that support the strategic digital corporate goals of B. Braun Medical Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Technology Specialists to design and implement solutions that support the strategic digital corporate goals.
  • Guide and mentor technical teams.
  • Oversee and participate in the design, development and implementation of technology.
  • Establish a technical vision for complex, enterprise projects.
  • Sponsor and drive projects, identify risks, and align priorities.
  • Key point of contact for internal customers as it relates to technical solutions.
  • Identify technical risks and platform limitations based on user requirements.
  • Involvement in the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and management of solutions.
  • Able to present technical concepts across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Assist System Analysts, Network Administrators, and the helpdesk deskside support group with technical support issues.
  • Perform technology vendor selection and analysis.
  • Monitor activities of and coordinates activities with service providers, partners and vendors for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s GxP validation requirements.

  • Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
  • Provides direct or indirect supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years related experience, plus a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • PREFERRED: Candidate to be located in Bethlehem, PA
  • Frequent business travel required, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities: Other Duties

  • Provide expert configuration and functional support for SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) in ECC6 and S/4HANA.
  • Areas of expertise should include: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Management, Banking, Business Partners, Dunning, General Ledger (GL) and New GL, Asset Accounting and New Asset Accounting, Cost Center Planning and Reporting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Project Systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of FI/CO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, WM, and Purchasing).
  • Configure and troubleshoot SAP Substitutions and Validations across FI, AA, and CO.
  • Support tax compliance by leveraging strong knowledge of Sovos Sales and Use Tax and its integration with SAP ECC6 and S/4.
  • Oversee automated AP solutions using OCR and ensure proper interaction with SAP.
  • Handle technical processes including IDoc management, EDI configuration, and Query creation.
  • Collaborate on global initiatives, including:
    • Participation in global FI/CO team for S/4HANA implementation
    • Driving international harmonization efforts across finance processes
  • Provide user support and training, ensuring effective adoption of SAP systems and processes.
  • Adhere to project plans and timelines, serving as project leader or active participant as needed.
  • Apply basic programming knowledge to effectively communicate with developers and support technical enhancements.
  • Monitor and maintain SAP security, including understanding authorization roles, objects, and troubleshooting missing authorizations.
  • Support SAP customer service module and its integration with ServiceMax.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, including setup, roles, and CDS Views.
  • Knowledge of Webservices and Data Archiving.
  • Familiarity with SAP GRC and BRM.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and OneNote
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery practices
