IT Systems Specialist- Clinical

Long-term contract role located on-site in Boston, MA for a large life sciences client.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain computer systems quality documentation aligned with regulatory and Info Sec standards.
• Author and execute Computer Systems Validation (CSV) protocols, Installation Verification & Installation (IVI), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, Info Sec, and compliance teams to ensure audit-readiness.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues (preferred experience in network troubleshooting).

Requirements

• Windows: Server/Desktop, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SNMP.
• Validation Tools: Document control systems, change management workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITIL and GMP Regulations.
• Experience in regulated industries (preferred but not required).
• Experience with Intune System Administration or related tools.
• Basic Ubuntu System Administration.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
• Excellent written communication for documentation.
• Self-starter with ability to work across teams.
