IT Systems Engineer (Systems Administrator – Senior (NCR)

About the role

Gemini Industries Inc. seeks an innovative IT Systems Engineer (Systems Administrator – Senior) to support National Security projects. The role involves rapid response, analysis, operations planning, and advanced technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support business process re-engineering based on current acquisitions processes and information flows to the intelligence community.
• Meet with management to assess and define system requirements.
• Analyze network data and infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and resolve issues.
• Develop and design network architecture and computer systems infrastructure.
• Oversee the development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Maintain computer systems and networks for security and performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Create network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals.
• Use government-provided Generative AI tools to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem-solving.
• Make recommendations on process improvements and practices that enhance quality, speed, and efficiency.
• Train the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years work-related experience, including four (4) years supporting a DoW-aligned environment.
• Experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Security+ or DAWIA equivalent certification.
• Graduate of an ABET-accredited systems engineering program.
• Joint Staff experience.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in applying Generative AI.
• Experience in IT systems integration.
• Experience in Database integration techniques.
• Experience in Data visualization.
• Knowledge of Systems engineering tools (Sparx EA, Cameo, Core, etc).
• Enterprise architecture development.
• Knowledge of JCIDS, PPBE, and DAS.
• Process mapping, e.g. BPMN or other.
• Modeling and simulation.

• Vicinity travel within the NCR.
