About the role

The IT Systems Administrator I is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure. This includes managing server operations, network administration, and ensuring data security.

Responsibilities

• Manage server operations, including monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Administer network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and secure connectivity.
• Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and network protocols such as TCP/IP.
• Strong understanding of data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Office, VMware, and Cisco products.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff.

Pay
