About the role

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration and support of information systems for the US organization. This position focuses on system upgrades, changes, and feature enhancements, and collaborates with employees and leadership to resolve incidents and problems within the organization’s information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administration of systems and databases, including investigation and diagnostics of problems within one or two technologies and across other platforms.
  • Provisions and revokes access for Syspro, uniPoint, riteSCAN, and other systems as required.
  • Analyzes requests for technology changes and customization by consulting with employees and other IT disciplines to determine requirements.
  • Assesses system impact of proposed changes and makes recommendations that ensure consistency with existing system standards and future system implementation goals.
  • Participates as a team member and contributes to team projects.
  • Collaborates with other resources for tasks as needed.
  • Conducts audits on data as needed and upon request.
  • Works cross-functionally within the organization to ensure proper usage, training, and feedback is implemented as needed.
  • Extracts, transforms, and loads data as needed within systems.
  • Implements automation whenever possible.
  • Creates automated reports and KPIs as needed to support the business.
  • Collaborates with vendor partners as needed for IT projects.
  • Effectively communicates to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Works with the following systems and technologies: Microsoft SQL, Syspro, riteSCAN, uniPoint, Power Platform, Advanced Excel Formulas, SharePoint, and other systems as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus two years of related experience; or
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, plus four years of related experience; or
  • High school diploma plus six years of related experience.

Pay

$85,000–$100,000 yearly salary
