Responsibilities

  • Administer patch management for servers and endpoint devices, configure and administer daily backups.
  • Conduct performance reporting to support capacity and advanced Active Directory and email management.
  • Complete basic Windows or Linux administration tasks, including patching, configuration of server roles and features, and installation of software packages.
  • Contribute to support of network and storage environments, including SAN, clustering, load balancing, multi-site VPNs, network IDS, firewalls, and application delivery/virtualization products such as Citrix.
  • Contribute to support of enterprise database systems such as MS-SQL, Intersystems’ Caché, and Oracle.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize attention and workload to focus on client priorities within a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • ITIL framework work experience.
  • Enterprise virtualization technologies in a live, production environment.
  • Windows Server Platform enterprise management work experience.

Expectations

  • Regular availability outside of standard business hours for critical issue resolution and planned maintenance.
  • Comfort with remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration tools.
