IT Support Technician - Onsite - Contract - Bingen WA

Insitu, a Boeing company and leader in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), is seeking a Level 2 Support Technician for a 12‑month onsite contract in Bingen, WA. The role provides IT support to end users, troubleshoots technical issues, and implements effective solutions while ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to IT service requests, providing technical support in line with company guidelines.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, delivering effective fixes and workarounds.
• Escalate and coordinate complex technical issues to higher‑level support teams or subject matter experts.
• Document the resolution process for all help desk requests, maintaining accurate records from initial report to final solution.
• Install, configure, repair, and replace computers, peripherals, and software.
• Assist users in understanding system operations and resolving common technical concerns.
• Support meetings by assisting with audiovisual (AV) setup as required.
• Facilitate basic IT training for new employees, including workstation and account setup.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant discipline and at least 1 year of professional IT experience (High School/GED minimum).
• Strong customer service focus and reliable work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
• Broad understanding of computers, networks, and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology and software.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
• Experience with hardware provisioning and imaging/deployment tools.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems.
• Experience supporting remote users and VPN technologies.

Work Arrangement

This is a full‑time on‑site position in Bingen, Washington. The role requires hands‑on work and collaboration with on‑site teams.
