IT Support Technician III

Provides technical support and assistance to departments, faculty, staff, and students with basic hardware and specialized software support and maintenance. Specializes in hardware and software relevant to the department or unit, and manages area or unit IT projects in support of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance for basic hardware and some software to departments, faculty, staff, and students.
• Specialize in hardware and software relevant to the department or unit.
• Manage area or unit IT projects in support of business operations.
• Collaborate with other departmental and school IT staff to meet needs within IT operations and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience
• OR a combination of related education and/or experience totaling seven (7) years.
