IT Support Technician Duties And Responsibilities

• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems for users, computer software and hardware
• Communicates solutions to end-users
• Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configurations of end-user PC desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals
• Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware, software, internet, and local-area network access problems
• Captures and documents end-user issues and resolutions
• Coordinates timely repair of PC/laptop computers
• Completes application project-based work
• Troubleshoots computer problems, determines sources and advises on appropriate action

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with network infrastructure and protocols
• Basic knowledge of server administration
• Experience with remote access tools and technologies
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and troubleshooting tools

Skills

• Technical proficiency with Windows operating systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $70,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
