About the Role
This role plays a key part in keeping stores running smoothly. The IT Support Specialist will provide remote support to locations, helping team members with hardware, software, and POS systems. As the go-to problem solver for network, device, and application issues, you will ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. If you enjoy troubleshooting, delivering quick solutions, and supporting people so they can focus on serving customers, this role is a great fit. You will also manage support tickets and monitor service levels to ensure every request gets the attention it deserves.
Responsibilities
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, chat, and MaintainX system. Ensure all issues are addressed and documented in MaintainX.
- Troubleshoot all IT systems, POS, networking, and business application issues.
- Assist with hardware setup, replacements, and software updates.
- Document resolutions and escalate complex problems when needed. Ensure all wash down issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service with store staff.
- Provide remote IT support 100%.
- Assist with IT projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3 years of experience in an IT support role. A combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
- Knowledge of controls systems, low voltage, networking, and camera systems.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, POS systems, and advanced IT hardware and software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, or related software.
