Duties
- Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner and ensuring pertinent information is documented.
- Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Aid in the administration of servers and network equipment as directed by the System Administrator/IT Ops Manager.
- Deploy software into production by loading software into computers, such as Office-365.
- Deploy hardware into production by setting up and thoroughly testing before going live with the end user.
Essential Duties
- Interact positively with computer users, staff members, managers, executives, and vendors.
- Assist and train fellow employees in complex information systems topics.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1+ years of experience working in a similar environment preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of computers and related equipment and/or IT Support experience in an IT Support Position.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft (Windows) Operating Systems.
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of server and/or network systems is a plus.
- A valid Driver's License is required. May also be required to obtain a license or specific training for off-road vehicles or snow machines.
