About the role
Provide day-to-day help desk support and hands-on training across all departments; monitor and validate backup jobs and perform restore testing; administer Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File Services, Hyper-V) and manage Active Directory; deploy patches and software updates via tools like Intune, WSUS, or PDQ Deploy; configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs, including running and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling; build and image Windows workstations and manage hardware/software inventory; administer Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity/MFA; and manage iPads and mobile devices via Intune or Jamf Pro.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent certifications plus 3–5 years of IT support experience
- CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016–2025 administration
- Experience with automated deployment tools
- Hands-on networking and cabling skills
- Familiarity with Azure/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration
- Backup solution experience (Veeam or Windows Server Backup)
- Strong Excel/Word proficiency
Qualifications
A valid driver's license is required for travel to remote locations.
Skills
- Nice to have: Network+, Security+, or AZ-104/MD-102 certification
- Nice to have: Experience with Cisco, Meraki, or Ubiquiti gear
- Nice to have: PowerShell scripting
- Nice to have: SharePoint or SQL Server experience
