Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support to all staff, both on-site and remote, addressing hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords across various systems, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Respond to, prioritize, and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving faults.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT equipment, software, and licenses.
- Assist with the deployment of new technology and contribute to IT projects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides to support staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an IT support role, such as an IT Support Specialist or Helpdesk Technician.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and support.
- Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A relevant qualification or professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) is highly desirable.
