About the role
We are actively recruiting an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Empower Users: Respond promptly to help desk tickets, messages, and emails, resolving issues related to PCs, applications, printers, faxes, and network connectivity.
- Lead & Escalate: Serve as a go-to expert by acting as an escalation point for complex helpdesk challenges.
- Document & Educate: Develop clear, user-friendly documentation for common issues, ensuring both helpdesk staff and end users have the tools they need.
- Leverage your Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
- Hardware & Software Management: Install and replace hardware and software across multiple locations, apply security patches, and manage company assets with precision.
- Plan for Success: Collaborate on disaster recovery plans and coordinate equipment relocation and reallocation during company moves.
- Support Remote Users: Assist team members working in other offices with accessing essential technology and provide solutions for portable and handheld devices.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Innovation & Technology Department on exciting projects, research, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Education and Work Authorization:
- - High School Diploma or GED
- - Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident
- CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred
- Experience and Skills:
- - 0 - 2+ years' experience in an IT Support Specialist Role
- - Proven experience of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and related software
- - Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written, technical concepts in a clear and understandable way
- - Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
- - Ability to partner and collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
