About the role
Massaro Construction Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide responsive, hands-on technology support for employees in the corporate office, remote environments, and active project sites. The role resolves day-to-day hardware, software, account, connectivity, and application issues while supporting secure, reliable technology operations. This position is primarily on-site at our O'Hara Township office while also supporting employees in other Massaro offices (Erie/State College) and project locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh region. Local jobsite travel is expected, with occasional after-hours support for urgent issues, planned upgrades, or project-site setup.
Responsibilities

- Maintain clear communication through resolution or escalation.
- Perform employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, including accounts, permissions, licensing, device preparation, software installation, equipment deployment, and secure asset recovery.
- Provision, configure, maintain, replace, and retire company computers, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and related end-user technology; maintain accurate hardware, software, licensing, and assignment records.
- Perform routine Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administration and assist with endpoint enrollment, application deployment, updates, security settings, MFA, authentication, and remote support.
- Provide first-line support for Massaro applications including Procore, Sage 300 CRE/Sage Intacct, TimberScan, Autodesk, Adobe, Primavera P6, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, and other approved platforms.
- Support project-office and jobsite technology, including internet/Wi-Fi, devices, printers, displays, file access, and new-site setup; travel to local jobsites when needed and provide practical user guidance or basic training.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, switches, and access points; support office AV, shared printers/scanners, outages, upgrades, device refreshes, and scheduled IT projects.
- Reinforce cybersecurity practices including MFA, access controls, endpoint protection, phishing awareness, secure device/data handling, and prompt incident escalation; document recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.
- Create and maintain useful ticket notes, troubleshooting procedures, user guides, knowledge-based articles, equipment standards, inventory records, and jobsite technology documentation.
- Identify recurring support problems and recommend practical process, automation, training, or standardization improvements that reduce support demand and improve the user experience.
