IT Support Specialist
Job Details
- Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support to all departments within the Medical Device industry, ensuring the smooth operation of software and hardware systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with JD Edwards, Outlook, and Microsoft Dynamics software.
- Manage software updates and installations, ensuring minimal disruption to department operations.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity in the accounting and finance departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify IT needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain the security of all systems, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial data.
- Provide training and support to staff on new software and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support and the accounting and finance industry.
- Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support.
- Strong knowledge of JD Edwards, Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics, and other related software.
- Proven experience as a computer technician, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical staff.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to identify potential IT issues and resolve them before they impact operations.
- A strong understanding of the accounting and finance industry, with the ability to identify and respond to the specific IT needs of these departments.
