IT Support Specialist

About the role

Provide local and remote support for users within the New York City office and across the company. Troubleshoot end-user problems efficiently and effectively. Educate and enforce IT compliance and policy obligations. Maintain Zoom Rooms, AV hardware, and occasionally the local network infrastructure. Monitor for security threats, malware, and ensure endpoint and email security. Manage enterprise systems, company IT assets (servers, desktops), and handle provisioning/deprovisioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide local and remote IT support for users in the NYC office and company-wide
• Troubleshoot end-user problems efficiently and effectively
• Educate and enforce IT compliance and policy obligations
• Maintain Zoom Rooms, AV hardware, and occasionally the local network infrastructure
• Monitor for security threats, malware, and ensure endpoint and email security
• Manage enterprise systems and company IT assets (servers, desktops)
• Handle provisioning and deprovisioning of IT resources

Requirements

• Experience with macOS administration and support
• Proficiency in managing formal ticketing systems
• Experience administering SaaS technologies
• Ability to support various technologies including macOS, Windows, printers, and network devices
• Background in managing enterprise security, including disk encryption, OS firewalls, and MDM
• Proactive and willing to learn new, efficient solutions
