IT Support & Infrastructure Associate

Responsibilities
- End-User Support & Troubleshooting (30%)
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, peripherals, and common business technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and account-related issues.
- Assist users with technology adoption, system integrations, and day-to-day technical needs.
- Infrastructure & Systems Support (30%)
- Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, network devices, and related infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with internal and external support resources to maintain service availability.
- Support security camera, access control, and other IT and physical security systems as assigned.
- Endpoint Deployment & Asset Management (20%)
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint devices and software.
- Assist with inventory management, technology refresh initiatives, equipment tracking, and loaner device programs.
- Support audio/visual and meeting-space technologies as needed.
- Documentation, Training & Process Improvement (10%)
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
- Provide user training and technical guidance.
- Recommend improvements to support processes, standards, and operational efficiencies.
- Projects, Research & Professional Development (10%)
- Participate in technology projects, implementations, upgrades, and testing activities.
- Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve services and operations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and technical training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
- General professional skills:
- Problem-solving and structured troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer service mindset (patience, professionalism).
- Organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Technical basics:
- Windows OS (macOS/Linux a plus).
- PC hardware & peripherals troubleshooting.
- Basic networking (Wi-Fi, IP, DNS/DHCP).
- Microsoft 365 / common business apps.
- Basic security (passwords, patching, antivirus).
- Occasionally engage in strenuous activity, such as lifting up to 50 pounds, using a ladder, and crawling under desks.
- Occasional evening and weekend work.
- Driving is a responsibility of this position.

Schedule
This position offers a 40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday. Hours and schedule may vary.
