IT Support II

About the role

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our IT team as an IT Support II. The IT Support II is responsible providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software to the organization. Responsible for troubleshooting IT issues from inception to resolution, escalating tickets as needed. Answer any questions relating to laptops/workstations, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, IT related software, email, communications, etc.

How you will make an impact

• Reviews, prioritizes, and responds to ServiceDesk tickets ensuring timely resolution
• Provide service and support to end users on a variety of hardware and infrastructure issues
• Assist with the setup and configuration of end-user laptops (Windows & MacOS)
• Troubleshoot end-user hardware, operating system, network and software related problems
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards
• Assist in developing the documentation, knowledge base, and best practice guides
• Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users
• Perform other functions and duties as required

Requirements and qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience with help desk support, troubleshooting common IT issues required
• Previous ServiceDesk experience is required
• 2 or 4-year IT related degree preferred or Relevant IT/Systems Certifications
• CompTIA A+
• Demonstrate problem solving skills and solution development skills
• TCP/IP Networking basics
• Active Directory / Entra ID
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, while maintaining efficiency and quality of work
• Familiarity with working in a lab environment is a plus

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
