IT Support Analyst - Field Technology

About the role

Allan Myers is seeking an IT Support Analyst to support construction and construction-materials field technology from our Chesapeake, Virginia office. The role covers applications and systems used in estimating, surveying, asphalt production, field productivity, planning, and scheduling. A background in construction or construction operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct user support over the phone and in person at offices, job sites, and asphalt plant locations.
• Assist users with issue resolution and provide guidance on technology use.
• Resolve account and device issues, clear sessions, and troubleshoot performance problems on devices, networks, and core applications.
• Support field technology deployments and deliver end-user training on technology use.
• Participate in implementation projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking, and strong verbal and written communication skills to influence outcomes and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with or knowledge of the construction or materials production industries is a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Project+, Network+, or Cloud+ are preferred.
