Responsibilities
- Support enlisted personnel in providing end-user support and technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Set-up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Respond to tickets and requests for technical assistance in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and software licenses.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system backups.
Requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DOD baseline certification.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop/PCs and other relevant technologies.
