IT Supervisor - Sports Illustrated Stadium

Job Summary

The IT Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and effective use of all systems and technology resources at the Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Assisting with the performance of all IT-based applications and systems at the location
• Conducting proactive maintenance of systems and IT infrastructure at the location
• Supporting global or major events (USTA, golf, Super Bowl, All-Star Game, etc.) as requested
• Providing systems support
• Maintaining inventory counts of all field-based systems by location and service offering within their respective region
• Ensuring systems and servers are properly patched, on a consistent version of software, and running in a stable environment throughout their region on a quarterly basis
• Aiding in the execution of system installations and upgrades
• Understanding and executing technical priorities, standards, and procedures for existing and future systems as directed
• Providing technical support and acting as an escalation point for local IT support (local IT managers, or hourly IT supervisors/technicians)

Skills and Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience, equivalent skill
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting POS systems in the restaurant/hospitality business preferred
• Core skills such as network, database, and scripting
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently without close supervision
• Able to analyze issues and problems, and know and follow the escalation plan
• Well organized, able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Experience with cloud-based POS (Appetize, Bypass, VenueNext) is preferred. Experience with PCI compliance is preferred
