IT SOX Compliance Advisor

About the role

Under minimal supervision, supports Financial Compliance governance, risk, and compliance processes as it relates to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).

Essential Functions

• Monitors and reports internal SOX compliance against external regulations and industry standards.
• Independently performs risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet regulatory and legal information technology SOX compliance requirements.
• Provides recommendations on highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions.
• Collaborates with SOX external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepares SOX compliance-related documentation and reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or equivalent formal training (required).
• Five (5) years of equivalent work experience in information technology or a governance, risk, and compliance environment.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry standards; detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Additional Details

This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. This position may be eligible for relocation.
