IT Solutions Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support (Windows client and server environments).
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra).
• Manage virtualization (Hyper-V preferred) and Windows Server configuration.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, APs).
• Support SQL Server databases.
• Perform onsite client visits, remote support, documentation, and project work.
• Maintain documentation, security best practices, and disaster-recovery procedures.

Position Standards

• Experience supporting business level technology solutions for a minimum of three years
• Proven experience in the areas of position responsibility
• Demonstrate effective troubleshooting and apply disciplined escalation based on the situation
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record as a collaborative team contributor
• Relevant and current technology certifications preferred

Required qualifications

• 3+ years supporting business IT environments.
• Strong Windows client & server, networking, and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen if requested.

Preferred

• Relevant certifications (MCSA/Azure/AWS, CompTIA Network+/Security+, etc.)
• Scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and familiarity with virtualization or cloud.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field.

Physical Requirements

Position requires a combination of sitting and physical activity (standing, walking, bending, kneeling); requires lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs, climbing/working from ladders 6 ft or higher, and use of hand/power tools.
