Summary
The Solutions Developer is a hands-on technical leader responsible for partnering directly with business stakeholders to assess needs, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate technology solutions and services. This role evaluates off-the-shelf platforms versus custom-developed solutions, guiding decision-making on the most effective and scalable approach. The Solutions Developer designs, builds, and operationalizes automation and AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate and coordinate with business representatives and the IT architect team to understand and contribute to the definition of the needs.
- Implement AI-driven applications, automation, and agent-based workflows aligned with the defined AI roadmap and architecture.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using Python, React, and TypeScript.
- Develop and extend LLM-based systems and AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Autogen.
- Integrate AI solutions with Azure services including Azure AI Search, Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, and ERP systems.
- Design and iterate prompts, system instructions, and retrieval strategies to support reliable AI behavior.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and support analytics or machine learning workloads under established standards.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with internal AI governance, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Support AI solutions that include human-in-the-loop review, escalation, or fallback mechanisms where appropriate.
- Implement basic monitoring, error handling, and evaluation mechanisms for AI-driven applications to support reliability and maintainability.
- Apply secure coding practices when integrating AI services, APIs, and data sources in enterprise environments.
- Manage project workload and tasks.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software development, including work on AI-driven applications or automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience implementing LLM-based applications or AI agents.
- Familiarity with prompt and context engineering for enterprise AI use cases.
- Experience working within Azure-based cloud environments.
- Understanding of data handling, ETL concepts, and API integrations.
- Ability to work effectively within defined architectural, governance, and security constraints.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or extending Copilot experiences.
- Familiarity with vector databases and AI evaluation techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible for deploying and configuring cloud-based services.
- Basic understanding of responsible AI principles.
