Solutions Engineer
About the role
As part of our Sales Team, you will play a key role in designing innovative intralogistics solutions for potential customers across a wide range of industries. From the first workshop to the final handover, you will help transform customer needs into intelligent, automated system designs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop tailored solution concepts for potential customers in close collaboration with our Sales Team.
- Lead and facilitate workshops with customers and internal experts to analyze requirements, define logistics processes, and identify functional needs.
- Design customer-specific system solutions within interdisciplinary project teams taking ownership of concepts and project responsibilities.
- Analyze data, design logistics workflows, calculate solution costs, and prepare compelling proposal documents.
- Present your concepts to customers in a confident, inspiring, and persuasive way.
- Support the handover to engineering teams after project acquisition to ensure a smooth transition and aligned understanding.
Requirements
- An engineering degree (BSc; Master preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, intralogistics, or automation.
- A strong interdisciplinary mindset to approach challenges creatively, systematically, and with strategic foresight.
- A natural interest in intralogistics, automation, and technology-driven systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach; you enjoy working with people and bring passion, energy, and a “win-together” spirit.
- Courage, determination, and independent thinking, combined with a structured working style.
- Strong team orientation collaboration and shared success are important to you.
Qualifications
- Business-fluent English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20%).
