IT Service Desk Technician

RMC is hiring an IT Service Desk Technician (0800-1600 M-F) at Crane, Indiana. The selected applicant will be responsible for{{:}}Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environmentProviding technical support by responding to and resolving end-user problemsIdentify, research and resolve technical problems at the Tier 1 level of responsibilityDocumenting internal proceduresAssisting with the onboarding of new usersEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies Requirements Three (3) years of Systems Administration and/or IT Help Desk ExperienceAssociates degree plus one (1) year of experience considered in lieu ofEffective use of Help Desk tracking and ticketing system(s); tracking technical issues using ServiceNow and other ticketing systems; maintaining historical records and related documentation to ensure timely resolutionDiagnose data communications problems using specialized tools, test equipment and software utilitiesInstallation and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment, and softwareAbility to lift up to 50 pounds Certification Requirements{{:}}DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) is required. Additional Training may be required to be completed within 30 days of start Security Clearance Requirements{{:}}Active DoD Secret clearance is required to be maintained. The current salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000 (annually).
