The Los Angeles Dodgers Information Technology Department is seeking an IT Service Desk Engineer. This role involves managing endpoint device procedures, security, process improvements, and coordinating service desk tools.
About the Role
This position requires 5+ years of IT Endpoint Management or System Administration experience, strong familiarity with managing devices at scale, and knowledge of M365 administration, Intune/Entra/Exchange, and Windows Autopilot. Proficiency with ITIL or similar frameworks is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Managing MDM/RMM tool platforms (MS Intune, NinjaOne, Iru Kandji)
- Managing Service Desk SaaS (FreshService, Absolute Computrace, Zoom)
- Developing and maintaining advanced automation using PowerShell and Bash
- Deploying and configuring Windows, macOS and mobile devices using MDM
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining endpoint configurations, compliance policies, application deployments, and security baselines
- Creating and maintaining MDM/RMM device policies
- Deploying Operating System and 3rd party software updates
- Enforcing security policies such as encryption, anti-virus, and compliance
- Automating repetitive tasks using scripts
- Collaborating with Security, Infrastructure, and AppDev teams
- Collaborating with Dodgers Information Security and Compliance, Technology Operations teams, and business stakeholders
- Partnering with other business and technology teams across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a heavy customer focus position in an organization supporting more than 500 users
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows 11, Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, Android, and various hardware form factors
- Experience creating and maintaining high-quality documentation and providing training
Skills
- Ability to create and maintain high-quality documentation and provide training
- Experience implementing and managing using ITIL or similar framework
