IT Security Installer

About the role

The installer will specialize in low voltage cabling, field installation of Security systems and IP Camera systems. The applicant must be able to learn IT Technologies and provide Helpdesk Support.

Responsibilities

• Install IP camera systems.
• Run/Build electrical wiring in PVC or EMT.
• Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that security systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements.
• Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure proper function.
• Affiliate and interface with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
• Perform installation and repair work as designated in profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a high-level of professionalism, expertise, and leadership skills.
• Carry weights from 60 pounds.
• Measure, install, and pull wires through conduits for all circuitry.
• Diagnose system failures and identify necessary repairs.
• Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height.
