IT Security Administrator
Location: Remote (Supporting EST hours)
About the role
The IT Security Administrator will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the organization's identity and access management (IAM) systems. This position involves day-to-day user ID administration, access control, and resource authorization requests across multiple environments and systems. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in identity management, hold an ITIL certification, and demonstrate a strong understanding of IAM concepts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diversified IAM team and develop advanced skills in information security and technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily security administration tasks, including creation, deletion, modification, and password resets for supported technologies.
- Process Leave of Absence (LOA) and Return to Work (RTW) requests, ensuring access is removed for terminated workers.
- Assist the Service Desk with escalated issues that cannot be resolved at their level.
- Recommend and implement initiatives to simplify and automate security administration processes.
- Notify management of any concerns raised by requestors or anticipate escalation needs.
- Ensure adherence to all Security Administration Standard Operating Procedures and update Job Aids as needed.
- Participate in projects and initiatives supporting regulatory, audit, and IAM directives.
- Compile statistical data to support IAM operational and risk metrics.
Requirements
- ITIL certification is mandatory.
- 1-3 years of experience in Security Administration or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of SailPoint IIQ, OKTA, UNIX, LDAP, Active Directory, and RSA AM VPN/Remote Access.
- Thorough understanding of various Identity & Access Management concepts.
- Experience handling global customers via phone with a focus on customer centricity and helpdesk process visibility.
- Strong customer handling skills.

Pay
Pay Range: $45 - $47 per hour. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
