IT Sales Executive
Job Summary:
Identifies, qualifies, develops and closes sales within a service line, vertical or sector. Plans, facilitates and conducts complex client negotiations, and applies consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions. Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA’s service offerings and understanding of the client's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions. Maintains effective client relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers to understand the client's requirements match them with solutions and close the deal. Collaborates with delivery teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution.

We are currently seeking a IT Sales Executive to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Responsibilities
- Identifies, qualifies, develops and closes sales within a service line, vertical or sector.
- Plans, facilitates and conducts complex client negotiations, and applies consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions.
- Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA’s service offerings and understanding of the client's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions.
- Maintains effective client relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers to understand the client's requirements match them with solutions and close the deal.
- Collaborates with delivery teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience successfully selling and/or delivering IT services within the federal government space
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Sales/Business Development experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing business development and/or delivery efforts
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting different aspects of the sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

- Graduate degree preferred
- Excellent industry and service solution knowledge
- Excellent understanding of client’s decision making process, goals, objectives and strategies
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- Excellent ability to assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Pay
The starting pay range for this role is $87,163 - $130,745. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
