IT Project Manager - Parking System

About the role

Vernovis is partnering with a Columbus organization on a large scale parking system update. This Project Manager will lead the work from planning through go live, coordinating the vendor and internal teams while keeping day-to-day parking operations running.

Responsibilities

• Lead the parking system project from planning through implementation and closeout.
• Manage the project schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate work across the client, selected vendor, and internal teams.
• Oversee installation, testing, and go live activities while parking operations continue.
• Provide clear progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and track contract and procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Parking industry knowledge, including parking operations, parking technology, or parking technology, or parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS).
• Experience managing vendors and implementations through go live.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH.

Skills

• Transportation or public sector project experience (nice to have).
• Familiarity with license plate recognition, pay stations, or parking reservation platforms (nice to have).
• PMP certification (nice to have).

Pay

$56–$70/hour
