IT Project Manager

Job Summary

The IT Project Manager leads medium to large-scale healthcare technology projects that support strategic initiatives across The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Manages all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope
• Works closely with clinical, research, academic, and administrative stakeholders
• Cross-functional team coordination
• Project risk and resource management
• Facilitation of communication among technical and business partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two (2) years of project management experience leading technology-focused projects using various project methodologies
• Experience supporting specific IT disciplines or technologies
• Strong communication, customer relationship management, analytical, and change management skills
• Experience developing project documentation, utilizing project management tools, and working in healthcare IT environments
• PMP certification preferred but not required
