IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to promote collaboration and deliver iterative project milestones.
• Utilize Atlassian tools, such as Jira, to track project progress, manage tasks, and communicate updates effectively.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to maintain momentum and address challenges.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to resolve risks or delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project management best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and team productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT project management, including leading multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
• PMP or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using Atlassian tools such as Jira for project tracking and management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop and manage detailed project plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices in project management.
