IT Project Manager

Location: Cambridge, MA – hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage projects supporting Research and Preclinical functions. Projects will include new system implementations and enhancements to existing applications. The role will be part of the PMO and will be responsible for project planning, execution, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery within timeline and budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change activities.
• Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, business users, technical teams, validation, quality, and vendors.
• Manage project resources, capacity, financials, and timelines.
• Follow established PMO and IT SDLC processes and maintain required project documentation.
• Support IT security and infrastructure reviews for new systems, as applicable.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management and/or Business Analyst experience.
• 4+ years in a regulated Pharmaceutical, CRO, or FSP environment.
• Experience supporting Research and/or Preclinical projects.
• Experience with systems such as ELN, LIMS, Imaging, Digital Pathology, or Instrument Data Capture.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, risk, issue, timeline, and resource management experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrix organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
